The hip opening flow is an excellent yoga routine that will stretch your entire body and prepare you for the Lotus pose. The Lotus pose is often used while meditating, but even if you don't care about that pose, this will still be a good exercise for you, especially if you're a beginner. You'll need a strap and a yoga block, or something similar for this exercise.

The hip opening flow can also be used as a stretch session after a run or any activity that engages your lower body because it really takes care of your hips and your legs in general. No matter how inexperienced you are, you'll be able to do every pose in this routine. The only question is to what extent. You are probably not as flexible as Tim so you won't be able to copy his exact moves, but if you keep practicing this routine 3-4 times a week, you'll get there in no time.
