If you need to relieve some stress, what better way is there than to practice some yoga for stress? This is a short, but effective routine that serves as a first aid kit for your nervous system. There are far more elaborate yoga routines for relieving stress out there, but not all of us have to necessary time to do them.
This routine lasts for only 6 minutes and you can do it anytime, anywhere. Since this routine requires you to lie on your back, it's a good idea to do it on a yoga mat, but in case you're at work and don't have a yoga mat nearby, you can do it on a blanket or something similar.
You'll get to gently stretch every muscle in your body, control your breathing, and stay mindful at all times. Anyone can practice yoga for stress because it doesn't include any difficult postures and won't exert you one bit.
