If you are looking for a nice, moderate backbend class, Lesley Fightmaster has just the thing for you. Besides working your entire body, this routine will teach you, step by step, how to do a backbend and its many variations. This is a great class for anyone who is already familiar with beginner's yoga routines and is now trying to do something more advanced. Backbend pose is present in many yoga classes so it's really useful to know how to do it properly, without hurting yourself.
The routine lasts 49 minutes and is designed for intermediate yogis. Complete beginners should not be trying this routine because it requires a lot of flexibility and strength to be able to do every pose. Even some of the intermediate yogis could have troubles doing some of the poses to the full extent. You'll need two yoga blocks and a strap for this class.
