In this video, Adriene will show you Warrior III yoga pose, also known as Virabhadrasana III. This pose is considered one of the foundations of yoga. You'll learn how to do it in a safe manner and how to modify it in case you want to make it easier. Your back and core will benefit greatly from this yoga pose. You can include it in your usual yoga routine to make it more challenging, or you can design a completely new routine around Warrior III.

Even though this is a pose for beginners, Warrior III does require a certain amount of lower body strength since most of the time you'll be balancing on one leg while you'll hold the other one in several different positions. Don't get discouraged if you can't do everything Adriene does. Do as much as you can and keep practicing 3-4 times a week. The strength will come.
