In this video, Tim will show you Pranayama basics and teach you about meditation and controlled breathing. Pranayama is a special category of yoga that focuses on breathing and meditation. It comes in many different forms and it's considered an important part of practicing yoga. Every yoga routine should include at least a couple of minutes of Pranayama at the end.
Just like any other activity, Pranayam requires training. But instead of your body, it's your mind that needs to be trained. This is where Tim comes in. His Pranayama basics are designed for those who have never tried Pranayama before and don't know what exactly should they be doing.
Pranayama basics take only 5 minutes and the entire practice is done while lying on the back. It's all about relaxation and concentration. You'll need a yoga mat and a folded yoga blankets or towels that will serve as a support.
