    While the teacher’s voice is soothing and the practice gentle and relaxing, I personally need much less holding time and transition time and a more engaging pace when I am looking to relieve sadness. A more invigorating (which can also still be gentle for those needing that) practice lifts energy and refocuses thoughts onto breath and movement rather than leaving time for lots of thinking with longer transitions and a slower pace. Just my personal preference.
