Everyone knows that abs are the hardest part of the body to define and make visible. There are dozens of exercises that target your abs, but most of them require lots of repetition and effort. But a defined abdominal wall is not only nice to look at, it is also highly functional and serves as a protection for your internal organs. So it's not a bad idea to make it stronger.
In this video, you will learn the yogi's approach to abs workout. Adriene designed a short yoga for abs routine that will strengthen your core and make you feel the burn. The exercise is only 6 minutes long, but you'll definitely remember it for the rest of the day as your abs will get a nice workout.
Yoga for abs is suited for any level and does not involve strenuous movements. All you need is a yoga mat and a blanket on which you can lie. The blanket will come in handy when you'll be on your back, but it's not mandatory.
The routine includes well known abs exercises, such as "the bicycle", but you are encouraged to perform it more slowly, and really feel your abs working, and mind your breathing.
