Intro to Pranayama is a fantastic starting point for anyone that wants to learn about Pranayama, how to breathe properly, and how to meditate. Pranayama is a practice that consists of many breathing techniques. Each technique comes with its own unique benefits so you should learn as many as possible.
But for now, Tim will show you the very basics of meditation and breathing. The goal is to become aware of your breath and control it. Most of us take breathing for granted and rarely think about it. But once you start paying attention to it, and explore various forms of breathing, you can utilize it better and get the most out of it.
Intro to breathing, meditation, and Pranayama lasts for only 7 minutes, which is enough to get yourself familiar with the basic concepts of meditation. You'll need two yoga blocks, a blanket, and a cushion.
